Ethyl Acetate (ETAC):
A sweet smelling solvent used in glues and nail polish removers as well as in the decaffeination process (tea/coffee).
In our markets, ETAC is used in labs as a chromatography and extractions solvent.
Ethyl Acetate is made by reacting ethanol and acetic acid; however, a fermentation process is being developed.
